about me

I am a medical doctor by profession but I am also an artist.
The non-profit organization that I founded fights against youth drug addiction through art as a tool for prevention, therapy and rehabilitation. My goal is to
promote health through art.

I have over 17 years of experience with leading youth to stay far from addictive substances through performing and visual arts. I have experienced bullying and childhood depression myself and I got the main part of my healing from singing, dancing, playing drama and drawing.

In 2018 I did an internship in Woman’s Health Institute Robert Wood Johnson
School of Medicine and I was asked to illustrate a picture book to promote
Maternal Health entitled “Let’s start a family”. It was then that I decided to
write and illustrate the book Why Have I Been Made So Ugly?

I am also responsible for Health Program into the Special Olympics Madagascar
for 6 years, providing health care for athletes with intellectual disabilities and
support for their families.
